About the Living Environment Tour
The Living Environment Tour offers an in-depth exploration of how designers are shaping the living environments of the future. This tour focuses on projects that influence the quality of our daily lives, touching on themes such as architecture, public space, mobility, housing, and working environments.
More specifically, the tour highlights design concepts that reimagine how cities, buildings and public spaces are organised, along with the materials and mobility solutions that contribute to a sustainable and liveable environment.
Examples from past editions of Dutch Design Week include What if Lab: The Giving City – a project exploring how cities might function without cars at the doorstep, and what alternatives could look like – and CÂPSULA, a concept for sustainable tiny houses that promote new ways of living and reconnecting with nature.
