About the Strijp-S Tour
The Strijp-S Tour offers a captivating introduction to the creative heart of Dutch Design Week. This tour takes you and your group past some of the most iconic locations on Strijp-S, a former Philips industrial site transformed into a vibrant design district.
At the centre of Strijp-S lies Ketelhuisplein. The square has a lively, festival-like atmosphere, spanning approximately 7,000 square metres and packed with outdoor exhibitions and interactive installations. Adjacent to it stands the iconic Klokgebouw, one of the main venues of Dutch Design Week. Spread across four halls and offering 7,500 square metres of exhibition space, it hosts a wide range of showcases. Exhibitors include companies such as Secrid and Sweco, various national and international educational institutions featured in the ‘Class of ’25’, and various collectives and designers. This is where the latest developments in design research, technology, circularity, sustainability and industrial design take centre stage.
